The Swindle tricker Mehul Choksi, a former Diamond Trader from India who defrauded Rs 13,500 crore was arrested in Dominica based on an Interpol notice. Mehul Choksi will be escorted back to India soon for the investigations as he is the main prime accused in the Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud case. Choksi was born on May 5, 1959 in Mumbai. Since childhood, he had a dream to become a big businessman. Along with his education from GD Modi College in Gujarat’s Palanpur so after Mehul started chasing for his dream. Mehul’s father Chinubhai Choksi was a diamond trader and was operating Geetanjali Gems, a famous diamond jewelry chain. Before the CBI even initiated its investigation, Punjab National Bank (PNB) submitted another letter alleging that the total amount defrauded had increased to more than Rs 13,500 crore. Mehul Choksi and his nephew Nirav Modi were also named the prime accused.
