The Maharashtra Government extended the existing Lockdown curfew COVID-19 till June 1, 2021 to avoid the spread of deadly B.1.617.2 variant COVID-19 virus in the state. Maharashtra is a state with the highest number of Covid-19 positive cases till date in India from the outbreak of virus in India.


The Shiv Sensa Government led by Uddhav Thackeray in Maharashtra has made it mandatory to carry a Negative RT-PCR report to enter the State from every source of transportation. The RT-PCR test should be done within 48 hours before arriving to the state.
