The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Twenty20 cricket league lost approximately RS 2000 Crore for postponing the IPL 2021 upcoming matches which was supposed to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad due to the second wave of Covid-19 virus affecting in India and also among the team players. All the teams will be sending the overseas team players back to their respective countries
