Prime Minister Narendra Modi on announced the help the orphans under PM Cares to support the children who lost their parents in the Covid-19 pandemic. PM Cares will contribute through a specially designed scheme to create a corpus of Rs 10 lakh for each child when they reach 18 years of age. The corpus will be used to give a monthly stipend from 18-23 years of age to take care of the child’s personal requirements during the period of higher education. On reaching the age of 23, the child will get the corpus amount as a lump sum for personal and professional use in India. A large number of Mid aged Covid-19 patient lost their life while battling with the infection in India. The count of Covid-19 positive cases and test positive rates of many states in India have decreased now after implementing the lock down in various states by the State Government Authorities in India.

State Government have also announced various facilities, pensions and free educational scheme for the children and their future.
