The Mizoram Government Extended the Covid-19 lockdown for more 7days till 24 May 2021 to control the spread of the dangerous Covid-19 virus in the state. This decision for extending the lockdown is taken due to the increase in the number of Covid-19 positive cases in the country. The places of worship, educational institutions, public parks, picnic spots, movie theatres, gymnasiums, community halls, restaurants, shopping complexes, malls, business shops will be closed and strictly prohibited in the state. The shops dealing with the essential commodities will be opened on Thursday and Friday. Night curfew will be continued in the state till the end of the lockdown from 7pm to 4am.
