Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi addressed the Country Today on the ongoing current situation of confronting Covid-19 infection locus situation in the country. PM Modi said that “Our battle with the second wave of corona still continues. Like other countries, India has also witnessed severe hardship and many of us lost our loved ones and acquaintances. My sympathies are with such families.” He also announced that the vaccines for the Covid-19 infection will provided for free of cost to the adults in India. The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic have forced en number of virtuous patients to crumble with life threatening complications and post Covid-19 syndrome.
PM Narendra Modi said that the virus is like an “invisible and form-changing enemy”. Covid protocols are still the most important weapon in fighting this enemy, he said, underlining the need for face masks, hand hygiene and social distancing.
