Tamil Nadu has extended the ongoing lockdown till June 14, 2021 Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Tanjore, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai are the hotspot districts in Tamilnadu with high rates of Covid-19 positive cases. The graph of Covid-19 margin is not decreasing in these places. The grocery stores will be open in the rest of the state from 6 am to 5 pm. The public has been advised to make purchases from the nearby shops and avoid stepping out of home to keep away the Covid-19 virus. They have also been asked to limit the use of personal vehicles. The Tamil Nadu Government have also requested to limit the use of personal vehicle in the state too.
