The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is going to raise the fund for the infrastructure of 63 oxygen plants in Punjab and Haryana to overcome the lack of Oxygen to the Covid-19 patietnts in India. The project of implementing the Oxygen plants in Haryana and Punjab is to meet the oxyegn requirement in the state to handle the second wave of Covid-19 virus properly with care. The plan is to make 44 Oxyegn Plants in Haryana and the remaining 19 Oxygen Plants in Punjab with the help of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the technology developed by them.
